This yarn has many plies, making it perfect for sport weight socks, or other hard wearing projects. The colors knit up as beautifully as the fingering weight Koigu does. Each skein is 100% merino wool, and 114 yards. The recommended gauge is 22 sts = 4" on a US 6 needle. Hand wash recommended, but it can be washed on cold delicate cycle in the washer.
