These little squares knit up in a flash!  Great project to work on when you have some time in between easier projects.  I strongly recommend NOT catching floats at all unless you anticipate rough treatment of your blanket.  You could also easily put a back on this since it is many small squares you could do a hand tied or machine quilted look.  Catching floats often makes then show through on the RS but it makes the fabric very stiff.
