Summer with Shibui and other yarns to delight all knitters!

Summer is the time for wild and stylish knits

In the summer, we have more time to do the things we really love- like knit!

Just this morning, a customer came in and told us what a great time she had knitting outside yesterday!  We all couldn't agree more, weather you need a break from the garden, or family activities, grab you knitting and relax!  Natalie just joined the Stephen West Summer Shawl KAL and it really motivated her to finish her project quickly (and it was so much fun changing colors!).  Last year we had a great time knitting Vertices Unite, Dotted Rays, and Smooth Move, and this summer we know we will want to make more than one of Stephen West's fun projects!  This newsletter has some fun ideas that make the most of multiple colors.

Unicorn Parallelograms uses 20 different colors of Tosh Merino Light from the Unicorn Mega Bundle, but Natalie used only 17 colors, and plans to use her remaining colors to knit a smaller Unicorn Stripes Cowl.

Natalie is wearing Gloria's Unicorn Stripes Cowl which we have in the store!  She usedall 30 colors and followed the directions to the letter!

Shibui Summer Mix Trunk Show is here until June 30th!
In case you didn't notice, we are all loving Shibui for summer!  These patterns mix and match light-weight yarns for endless color, texture, and wearability!  These yarns hold up really well and are easy to wear- just ask our staff!  Donna has been a Shibui fan for years and the rest of us have finally joined her.

Mix No. 14 and Mix no. 18 both use Cima doubled for a truly luxurious effect!  This feels like cashmere!  Mix No. 18 is a blend of intarsia and crocheted lines for a geometric effect.

Mix. No.17 looks amazing on our customers!  We have it in gray.   This is truly a year round sweater being made of Linen held with Cima.  Mix No. 16 has been a favorite of Natalie and Tami since we touched it last year!  It is made from Cima held with Silk Cloud.

Mix No. 13 is a textured stitch knit in Linen.

Mix. No. 26 is slip stitch in Pebble.  Mix No. 27 is very slimming knit in two colors ofLinen.

Mix No. 28 has been very flattering on our customers!  It is knit with Pebble held withLinen for a wonderful layering vest.  Mix. No. 29 is a fun cowl with Pebble, and Cimaheld doubled.
