Summer kits and knits!

Nothing brightens your day more than new yarn!

Okay, the spring flowers poking up are pretty exciting too...

We have put together some fun kits and knits for your knitting pleasure.

What should you make with 30 mini skeins of Madelinetosh Merino Light?  We are in love with Fancy Tiger Crafts interpretation of the very fun Unicorn Stripes chevron scarf that is knit in a tube, using ALL 30 colors.  If you think the scarf is too big, you can take out a few colors, and knit the Color Swatch cowl, shown here in fingering weight.  Shop this mega bundle on our online store here.

Madelinetosh Prairie back in stock
We just got in our spring shipment of Madelinetosh Prairie.  Prairie is the lace-weight version of Tosh Merino Light.  One of our favorite projects is Samen by Stephen Westwhich uses five colors of Prairie held double in different combinations throughout.

Here Natalie is wearing her large version on the left, which used a variety of hand painted lace weights doubled, on a size 7 needle.  On the right, Natalie is wearing Vicki's smaller version knit with Prairie held doubled on a size 5 needle.  Tami has knit this, and Ruth just picked out yarn to knit this project.  When you use Prairie, one skein each of the five colors is more than enough to knit either version.  You can also knit this using five different colors of Tosh Merino Light.  We have a really good selection of both yarns at the moment, over 50 colors of TML in the store  (many are single skeins, so we do not have all the colors listed in our online store).

Straw into Gold Kits in stock!

The shop sample will be knit using Pagoda, instead of Lust.  We stock many colors of Pagoda, and you get a nice variation in texture, just as you would if you used Lust.  Lust is a smooth yarn, and Pagoda is crinkly, but either way your garter ridges will really stand out!  We have our fingers crossed that one skein of Pagoda will be enough!  The shawl shown here is in Sand Dollar, but we have other colors available.

Carol Sunday Pueblo, and Sonoma Stole Kits back in stock!

We have three different colorways knit up in the store!  Each one is simply beautiful!  Shown above in High Country, and Ruth's in Autumn on the right.

Shown above in Primavera, and Sonoma on the right.

Slip-Stitch Cashmere Cowl

We designed this fun cowl for the store!  It uses two skeins of Jade Sapphire 4-ply Cashmere, but you can easily use Acadia, or a combination of your favorite DK weight yarns!
